What is CPNP ?
The Cosmetic Products Notification Portal is the European Commission ’s online system for notifying
cosmetic products before they enter the EU market. Information submitted through it is accessible to
relevant authorities and poison centres.
Does CPNP notification mean my product is approved ?
No. CPNP is a notification system, rather than a product approval or certification procedure. The product must also satisfy the other applicable cosmetics requirements.
Can a manufacturer outside the
EU use this service?
